It’s snowing.
It is supposed to snow all night and all day tomorrow. We are told this Nor’Easter is moving across our area for the next two days.
COVID has changed the magic of a snow day, but it did not corrupt the beauty of it.
Snow’s amazing ability to cover everything in a thick blanket of quiet will never be daunted by a pandemic.
How did I spend today? Cooking and cleaning and reading: three things I find peaceful and relaxing.
Now I am just watching the tiny flakes while the light still shines and the fireplace crackles with a warm glow.
It’s almost time to cook up the chicken shawarma.

We had a snow day here, too! I managed a run in this today, too. Delightful!
Good for you! Too cold for me today, but I saw people running before it really got started.
I like to look at the magic that snow shapes leave behind š¤ā but I am all set feeling cold weather. It’s been chilly here for us in SoFlo, I was in sweatpants and a sweatshirt the last few days š
